Electrical Maintainer - Powering Innovation and Safety at a Leading Industrial Facility

Required Skills:
- Valid Australian 'A' Grade Electrical Licence
- High Voltage Isolation and Access (HVIA) certification
- Australian C Class Driver’s License
- Forklift License
- Proven experience in high voltage maintenance, ideally up to 275kV
- Strong understanding of high voltage work procedures and safety standards
- Ability to operate and maintain HV equipment and systems
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with teams and external providers
- Ability to diagnose root causes of electrical breakdowns and implement effective solutions
- Experience with heavy industrial environments, preferably in aluminum smelting or similar sectors
- Familiarity with Honeywell Experion Control Systems and SAP is a plus
- Commitment to safety and team collaboration
- Experience working in or with heavy industrial and energy production facilities
- Knowledge of innovative maintenance practices and continuous improvement strategies
- Ability to lead small teams for specific projects or tasks
- Adept at prioritizing multiple tasks and organizing work efficiently
- Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in electrical maintenance
- Several years of hands-on experience in high voltage power systems
- Prior work in industrial or aluminum smelter environments
- Willingness to work scheduled roster including 10-hour shifts within a 9-day fortnight
- Dedication to safety, environmental standards, and continuous learning
- Ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
