About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HSS Administrator to join our client in the Bowen Basin. This role plays a key part in supporting contractor management, ensuring safety and compliance processes are administered effectively and efficiently.
You will provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, coordinate compliance activities, and contribute to broader team initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyse, and distribute weekly and monthly reports
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors regarding compliance requirements
- Manage contractor-related correspondence and enquiries
- Support meetings, including agenda preparation and minute taking
- Maintain departmental records, registers, and documentation
- Conduct audits on contractor job records
- Maintain workflow tools and manage end-user access where required
- Provide guidance and support for departmental systems
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
- Contribute to team initiatives and field leadership activities
- Experience in Contractor Management, Safety Administration, or a similar role
- Strong commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable practices
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
