HR Officer / HR Generalist – Mining Industry (6-Month Contract | Perth CBD) 

About the Role
This is a hands-on HR generalist role focused on HR operations, compliance, and policy development. You’ll work closely with managers to review and enhance HR processes, ensuring alignment with legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR compliance.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and investigations.
• Provide guidance on awards, Fair Work compliance, and HR legislation.
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, and workforce planning activities.
• Contribute to building a positive and consistent HR framework across the business.

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in a HR Officer / HR Generalist role.
• Strong understanding of Fair Work Act, compliance, and HR policy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident working independently and providing HR advice to managers.
• Mining or resources sector experience highly regarded.
