HR Manager – Level 7 | State Government | CBD Location

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager (Level 7) to join a leading State Government authority based in the CBD. Reporting to the Director and managing a team of two, this role is a strategic leadership opportunity to drive workforce capability, HR service delivery, and corporate project outcomes within a public sector environment. State Government experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement workforce capability and people strategies
  • Coordinate human resources services and provide expert HR advice
  • Contribute to the organisation’s strategic business planning outcomes
  • Lead and manage corporate projects and business services initiatives
  • Deliver business information, reporting, and support services
Key Selection Criteria:
  • Proven experience leading teams within State Government
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR)
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, change management, and implementation
  • Ability to align systems, processes, and performance frameworks for improved outcomes
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating and evaluating complex corporate projects
About You:

You are a proactive and commercially minded public sector HR leader with strong governance knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a track record of improving workforce capability, systems, and service delivery in a government environment.
