HR Manager – Level 7 | State Government | CBD Location
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager (Level 7) to join a leading State Government authority based in the CBD. Reporting to the Director and managing a team of two, this role is a strategic leadership opportunity to drive workforce capability, HR service delivery, and corporate project outcomes within a public sector environment. State Government experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement workforce capability and people strategies
- Coordinate human resources services and provide expert HR advice
- Contribute to the organisation’s strategic business planning outcomes
- Lead and manage corporate projects and business services initiatives
- Deliver business information, reporting, and support services
- Proven experience leading teams within State Government
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR)
- Strong skills in strategic planning, change management, and implementation
- Ability to align systems, processes, and performance frameworks for improved outcomes
- Demonstrated success in coordinating and evaluating complex corporate projects
You are a proactive and commercially minded public sector HR leader with strong governance knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a track record of improving workforce capability, systems, and service delivery in a government environment.
