We are seeking an experienced Stabilising Operator
(Heavy Plant) to join our clients team to contribute to high-quality infrastructure and construction projects. This role involves operating heave plant machinery to mix and stabilise soil using materials such as gravel, clay, and cement to create safe and durable ground conditions.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of stabilising equipment, conducting pre-start checks, performing minor maintenance, and ensuring work aligns with site specifications. The role includes travel to various project sites, and a fully maintained vehicle
is provided. You’ll also enjoy six weeks of annual leave, offering excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain stabilising machinery
- Conduct pre-start safety checks and follow site procedures
- Align operations with project specifications and monitor progress
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members
- Travel to project sites as required
- Experience operating stabilising or similar heavy machinery
- Mechanical skills for basic maintenance
- Strong safety awareness and compliance
