About the Role
Are you an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter looking for your next opportunity in the mining sector? Chandler Macleod is partnering with a leading Tier 1 mining operator to find a skilled and safety-focused tradesperson to join their high-performing maintenance team
This is a 3 Months Contract
role FIFO role from Perth, working on a dynamic 8/6:7/7 days and nights roster. You’ll be responsible for keeping a world-class mobile equipment fleet running at peak performance
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance on mobile mining equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults on a range of heavy diesel machinery
- Perform inspections, servicing, and parts replacement as required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site and company procedures
- Field service and breakdown experience highly regarded
- Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
- Proven experience with Komatsu 830E trucks, Komatsu Loaders WD900, CAT auxiliary equipment, and Dozers D11 highly advantageous
- Additional licences such as Forklift and Dogging tickets will be well regarded
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
