Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Dwellingup, Western Australia
Contract: 3-Month Temporary Assignment
Roster: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour days)

About the Role:
We are currently assisting a leading mining company in the recruitment of a Health & Safety Advisor to support their Production department at their site near Dwellingup, WA.
This is a hands-on site-based role focused on promoting safe work practices, supporting operational teams, and ensuring compliance with site and legislative safety requirements. You'll be working closely with the Production team, so prior experience in mining operations is essential.

This role will suit someone proactive, collaborative, and confident working across all levels of site personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Production team to support day-to-day safety compliance
  • Conduct safety audits and workplace inspections
  • Lead or assist in incident investigations and reporting
  • Facilitate safety presentations and toolbox talks
  • Support the implementation of HSE policies and procedures
  • Maintain safety records and perform safety-related data entry and reporting
  • Help drive a positive safety culture on site
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor in a mining operational environment
  • Strong understanding of mining safety legislation and compliance
  • Confident conducting audits and investigations independently
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage the Production workforce
  • High attention to detail and good data entry/reporting skills
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent)
