Health Business Partner

My client, a powerhouse (pardon the pun) within the Energy Sector is looking for a “Health Business Partner” to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract (the assignment could go beyond this).
 
Role:              Health Business Partner
Type:             6-month fixed-term contract
Work type:    Hybrid
Rate:             $130,000 - $140,000 + Super (pro rata)
Location:       Western Sydney
 

Responsibilities:

• Act as subject matter expert for health and wellbeing issues
• Increase awareness, accountability and engagement across the work force
• Investigate musculoskeletal injuries and assess risks, provide insights and solutions to reduce injuries
• Manage the mental health, alcohol & other drugs (AOD), fatigue management and injury management programs
• Implement and manage health and wellbeing internal policies and procedures
• Management of onsite physiotherapy services, early intervention services etc.
• Participation in strategic projects teams
• Contribution to strategic Health and Wellbeing programs
• Point of contact for all proactive and reactive Health and Wellbeing issues
• Responsible for staff based in the Western Sydney region (Paramatta, Penrith, Blacktown etc.)

 
Requirements:

• Ideally qualified within a Health Science or similar 
• Experience working in a similar professional/corporate role
• Allied Health Professional (ideally psychologist, nurse, occupational therapist background etc.)
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Proven ability to appropriately handle confidential information
