We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Group Financial Controller to lead a high-performing team across finance, business services, property, fleet, procurement, and payroll. This pivotal role is instrumental in driving financial integrity, operational excellence, and strategic growth across a diverse and mission-driven organisation.

With oversight of a $100 million annual revenue and a workforce of over 700 employees, you will ensure robust financial governance, champion digital transformation, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across operations spanning aged care, NDIS, community services, retirement living, early childhood education, and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 10 professionals across core business functions.
  • Drive the adoption and optimisation of technology systems, automation, and modern work practices.
  • Ensure financial compliance, integrity, and accurate record-keeping across all entities.
  • Oversee transactional finance, payroll, audit coordination, and balance sheet management.
  • Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives including property development feasibility and capital works planning.
  • Support commercial supplier arrangements and enhance financial sustainability.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance and CA/CPA membership.
  • Proven leadership in senior finance roles within large, complex organisations.
  • Experience in financial transformation, ICT projects, and service delivery improvement.
  • Strong background in asset management and property development planning.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
