to join their dynamic Resource Development team. This FIFO role (8:6)
from Perth offers the opportunity to work across underground and open pit operations, contributing to the definition and growth of valuable mineral resources.
About the Role
As a key member of the technical team, you'll play a hands-on role in designing and delivering drilling programs, collecting and interpreting geological data, and collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external contractors. Your work will directly support resource estimation, mine planning, and long-term operational value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan strategic drill programs aligned with development goals.
- Supervise drilling operations and ensure contractor compliance and safety.
- Conduct high-quality geological logging and sampling of core and RC chips.
- Apply rigorous QA/QC protocols for sampling and assay analysis.
- Interpret geological data using 3D modelling software (Leapfrog, Vulcan, etc.).
- Manage and maintain data integrity in geological databases (e.g. acQuire).
- Engage with cross-functional teams to align exploration with operational needs.
- Promote safety, environmental responsibility, and cultural heritage awareness.
- A degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or equivalent.
- 2–5 years’ experience.
- Software proficiency: Leapfrog, Vulcan, Micromine, and acQuire.
- Knowledge of copper-gold mineralisation systems and QA/QC best practices.
- (Desirable) Experience with diamond and RC drilling, geotechnical logging, and structural geology.
- Valid manual driver’s license and relevant safety certifications are a plus.
