Gardener Country Road Hatchery

Chandler Macleod is seeking a motivated, experienced, and reliable Gardener/Handyman to join the team at Country Road. This outdoor role plays a key part in maintaining the presentation, safety, and overall upkeep of the site’s grounds.

About the Role
This is a hands-on position involving general grounds maintenance, gardening, and light handyman tasks. Hours are negotiable, with a minimum of two days per week, and additional hours available for candidates with broader skill sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lawn mowing, trimming, whipper snipping, and hedge maintenance
• General garden and grounds care
• Basic handyman duties as required
• Routine upkeep and basic maintenance of gardening tools and equipment
• Ensuring outdoor spaces are safe, tidy, and well-presented
• Working independently to complete tasks efficiently and safely

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

• Previous experience in gardening, groundskeeping, landscaping, or similar outdoor roles
• Practical handyman skills
• A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work
• Strong awareness of safe work practices
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions

Training will be provided to support further skill development where needed.
