About the Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse teams, influence long-term planning decisions, and contribute to the delivery of impactful capital projects. You’ll be part of a transformation-focused unit, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and community needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long-term capital works plans aligned with strategic funding programs.
- Prioritise infrastructure projects based on community needs, funding availability, and strategic goals.
- Monitor, measure, and report on project outcomes and expenditure for both statutory and public reporting.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and briefings for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate responses to project-related enquiries and correspondence.
- Provide strategic advice on capital works planning and funding opportunities.
- Prepare and manage grant applications, including project delivery oversight and compliance reporting.
- Support cross-functional teams and contribute to broader transformation initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in economics, urban planning, social policy, environmental planning, or a related discipline.
- Experience in local government or public infrastructure planning.
- Familiarity with the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework.
- Demonstrated experience in developing strategic plans or policies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
