Chandler Macleod is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Fixed Plant Serviceperson to join our Tier 1 mining client based in Gove, NT. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable, day-shift role within a high-performing maintenance team supporting critical fixed plant assets.

About the role:

You will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and maintenance of fixed plant equipment to ensure reliability, safety, and optimal performance across site. This role suits a proactive tradesperson with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to preventative maintenance.

Roster
• 4 days on / 4 days off
• Day shift only
No accommodation provided

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on fixed plant machinery
• Carry out lubrication tasks, including checking, replenishing, and monitoring lubrication systems
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and hydraulic faults
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards, procedures, and permits
• Accurately record maintenance activities and parts usage
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimise downtime

Skills & Qualifications
• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or similar discipline
• Experience working with fixed plant equipment in a mining or heavy industrial environment
• Strong safety focus and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills

Desirable
• Lubrication systems and condition monitoring experience
• High Risk Work Licence (LF, DG, WP or similar)
• Previous Tier 1 mining experience
• Strong preventative maintenance background
