Chandler Macleod is seeking a First Aid, Weighbridge & Security Officer for a leading industrial client based in Port Kembla. This is an onsite, permanent role offering stability and variety in a dynamic environment.

What’s on Offer?

• Shifts:
  • Day: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Weekly rotation (one week day, one week afternoon)
• Paid overtime and shift allowance
• Monday to Friday roster

About the Role You’ll be the first point of contact for truck drivers, contractors, and visitors at the site gate. Your responsibilities include:

• First Aid & Emergency Response: Provide first aid, coordinate emergencies, and maintain medical records.
• Weighbridge Operations: Log and weigh incoming/outgoing vehicles, induct drivers, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Security Duties: Monitor site access, conduct inductions, patrol premises, and manage conflict resolution.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain WHS standards, update records, and support return-to-work processes.

This role requires someone personable, confident, and able to stay calm during emergencies or high-pressure situations.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications:
  • Occupational First Aid Certificate
  • Security Licence 1AC (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience in emergency response or security is highly regarded
