Finance Administrator
Location: Newcastle (Wickham), NSW

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join our client’s team on a full-time, permanent basis in Newcastle. This role reports directly to the CEO and has no direct reports, working closely with the Office Manager with shared staff support. The Finance Administrator is responsible for accurately recording the financial position of the organisation and providing efficient administrative support across the business.
Key Responsibilities

  • High-volume data entry and financial record keeping
  • Preparation and analysis of financial reports
  • Payroll processing and HR support
  • General administration duties
  • Providing OHS support to teams
Skills and Experience Required
  • Experience with Reckon Accounting Software
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite(Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with payroll systems
  • Strong cash handling skills
  • Budgeting and forecasting support
  • Analysis and interpretation of financial reports
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and risk management within OHS
  • Understanding of ATO compliance and lodgements
  • Competent with IT systems relevant to finance and administration
Work Arrangement
  • Full-time, permanent role based in Newcastle (Wickham)
  • Hybrid option: Once trained, the Finance Administrator may work 1 day per week remotely
  • Flexible schedule: Post-training, there is potential for a 4-day work week
  • Onsite parking available
