About the Role

Finance Officer will provide operational and administrative support within established policies and procedures. The role involves handling financial transactions, preparing reports, analysing data, and supporting projects.
This position requires communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing advice and resolving moderately complex financial enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Process financial transactions accurately in the Agency’s systems.
  • Extract and analyse data from SAP and other financial systems to resolve enquiries.
  • Prepare timely and accurate management reports.
  • Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures, including process mapping.
  • Work with stakeholders to support project initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Provide advice on financial matters within defined policy and procedures.

You Must Have
 
  • Understanding of finance operations and reporting.
  • Ability to analyse data and identify trends or issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
  • Ability to follow procedures while applying sound judgement to moderately complex matters.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Knowledge and Skills
 
  • Understanding of finance operations and reporting.

  • $43.82 hourly + Super
