Finance Manager

Finance Manager Location: Port Kembla, NSW
Type: Permanent, Full‑Time
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Chandler Macleod is partnering with an established business to recruit a Finance Manager for its operations. This permanent onsite role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong management reporting, ERP capability, and financial risk expertise, particularly in a manufacturing environment.

You will work closely with senior finance leadership to deliver accurate financial and management reports, oversee key accounting functions, analyse operating performance, and support business forecasting. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact position within a complex and dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly, weekly and daily performance reports and forecasts
• Manage group consolidated reporting in line with policies, audits and standards
• Oversee ERP, GL and key accounting systems (BC, Baan, FIS Integrity, OneStream)
• Lead financial risk identification, hedge accounting and exposure monitoring
• Support business development analysis and capital expenditure reviews
• Ensure accurate P&L, balance sheet and standard cost accounting
• Partner across operations, supply chain, IT, and Treasury teams

• Degree in Accounting + CA/CPA qualification
• Extensive experience in manufacturing accounting
• Strong ERP and GL systems background
• Ability to work across detailed and strategic levels
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
• Experience with hedge accounting highly desirable
