About the Role
The Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and cash flow management. This role provides strategic financial guidance, drives process improvement, and partners closely with senior leaders to support organisational performance. Managing a small finance team, the Finance Manager ensures accurate reporting, strong governance, and effective financial decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Manage AP/AR, payroll, cash flow and financial operations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Provide analysis and insights to support strategic decisions
- Maintain asset registers and oversee insurance requirements
- Develop and mentor the finance team
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong financial management experience across operations and strategy
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Expertise in accounting standards, compliance, and financial legislation
- Excellent Excel and financial systems capability
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related field
