Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and administration? An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Administration Officer to join a dedicated finance team in Warragul. This full-time OR part time contract role offers a diverse range of responsibilities supporting financial operations and administrative functions across various programs and services.


About the Role:
This position provides essential administrative and financial support to the finance team. Key areas of focus include accounts payable and receivable, payroll assistance, financial reporting, and compliance-related tasks. The role is suited to someone who is highly organised, has a strong eye for detail, and can manage competing priorities within a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions related to accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with payroll reconciliation and reporting tasks
  • Support month-end processing and account reconciliations
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and service agreements
  • Assist with debt collection, fee recovery, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
  • Support audit and accreditation processes

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
  • Certificate IV in Finance or a related field
  • Proficiency in computerised accounting systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong numerical accuracy and data entry skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information

Desirable Attributes:
  • Certificate III in Business or similar
  • Experience in aged care or a related sector
  • Familiarity with financial reporting or analysis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively


This role reports to the Finance Manager and works closely with internal departments to support the effective delivery of financial services.
