We are currently recruiting for a  Facilities Officer  for our client, a NSW Government agency, based in Sydney. This is a contract role until March 2026, offering $65–70ph + super for 35 hours per week. WFH arrangements are to be confirmed.

The Facilities Officer will support the Facilities Manager in coordinating property maintenance and asset management across their portfolio. This is a support-focused role ideal for candidates with strong contract management and systems experience, particularly within the NSW Government.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in managing property maintenance contracts and evaluating completion of works.
  • Conduct site inspections and liaise with contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and legislation.
  • Coordinate and prioritise building repairs within financial delegation.
  • Maintain property databases including SAP EAM, SharePoint, and electronic records.
  • Prepare reports on programs, projects, and facility updates.
  • Support risk identification and contract compliance.
Key Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in asset and contract management within a facilities or property services environment.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with spreadsheets and work management systems.
  • NSW Government experience is highly desirable.
  • No trade background required.
  • A current NSW Driver’s License.
