About the Role:
 An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced External Relations Advisor – Approvals to join a leading Western Australian organisation delivering major infrastructure and port-related projects.
You’ll play a key role in regulatory approvals, government engagement, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring projects meet all statutory and compliance requirements from design through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end approvals processes across all project stages.
  • Lead engagement with Commonwealth and State Government agencies.
  • Provide strategic advice on approvals pathways, risks, and compliance frameworks.
  • Coordinate inputs from consultants, legal teams, and technical specialists.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulators, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Support transparent communication and alignment across project teams.
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of government approvals frameworks for major infrastructure or maritime projects.
  • Proven experience in external relations, government liaison, or regulatory affairs.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
