Expression of Interest – Communications Project Officer (Senior Administrator)
Location: NSW
Work Type:  Part-time job-share. Working 21 hours / week – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Length of contract: Ending 31 July 2026

Our client is seeking expressions of interest for an experienced Communications Project Officer to provide high-level administrative and project-based support within a dynamic communications team. This role involves facilitating effective links between the section, executive leadership, and key stakeholders while ensuring smooth coordination of projects and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate overall administration of section and business unit functions
· Provide executive administrative support including diary management, reporting, and document preparation
· Plan and conduct meetings, take minutes, and manage follow-up actions
· Collate and compile data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
· Manage and update project plans and key documents for communications projects
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes

Skillset Sought

  • Previous experience supporting a senior leader / fast-paced, high volume team
  • Previous experience in drafting/formatting business papers and reports within a Corporate environment
  • Tertiary qualification in administration/project management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a corporate diary
Key systems/software

  • Authority (Council System)
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adobe Creative Suite
