Executive Assistant – State Government Commissioner
VPS4 | $65–$70 per hour + super | 3-month contract with potential for extension
Hybrid role – 3 days in office (CBD)

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Executive Assistant to support a State Government Commissioner in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an EA who thrives on responsibility, demonstrates composure under pressure, and has the ability to manage sensitive and complex matters with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level executive support to the Commissioner, including diary and inbox management, briefing coordination, and preparation of documentation.
  • Act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional communication at all times.
  • Anticipate and manage competing priorities with flexibility to accommodate the Commissioner’s schedule and commitments.
  • Draft, format, and review correspondence, reports, and other documentation.
  • Support the coordination of meetings, events, and board-related activities.
About You:
  • Previous experience as an EA in State Government mandetory.
  • Proven success supporting senior executives or C-Suite stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organisational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgement.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and confident in managing changing priorities.
