Equipment Operative – Albury
Chandler Macleod is seeking a motivated and reliable Equipment Operative for our client based in Albury. This hands-on operational role plays an essential part in ensuring the smooth and safe flow of goods within a busy logistics environment. 


 ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Equipment Operative, you’ll be responsible for the completion of operational activities within the station or hub. This includes handling, sorting, and transporting freight, as well as completing required paperwork and data entry to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures. 


Key Responsibilities:
- Perform handling, loading, and unloading of freight safely and efficiently 
- Operate equipment and vehicles as required (valid licence essential) 
- Complete daily operational tasks and reporting accurately and on time 
- Follow established processes, safety standards, and compliance procedures 
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth workflow 
- Plan and organise daily tasks to meet schedules and deadlines 


 
About You:  
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused 
- Good problem-solving and planning skills 
- Prior experience in operations, warehousing, or logistics is beneficial but not essential 
 
Requirements
- Current and valid driver’s licence 
- Ability to follow safety and compliance procedures
