Environmental Compliance Advisor – 6 Month Contract

Location: Pinjarra
Rate:$50– $55 per hour
Roster:   Monday to Friday | 8-hour days | Potential 1-2 days WFH once established.
Start Date:   ASAP start with a respected industry leader.
Contract Duration:   6 Months

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Advisor to join a leading organisation in the resources sector on a 6-month contract. Based at the Pinjarra Mining Hub, this role offers flexibility with occasional site travel.

You will play a key role in environmental compliance and EMS implementation, ensuring licences remain current, managing ISO14001 systems, and supporting operational teams with compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental licences and compliance tracking.
• Deliver government reporting and support approvals submissions.
• Coordinate EMS systems, audits, and ISO14001 certification.
• Provide technical advice on compliance risks and incident investigations.

About You

• Degree in Environmental Science, Restoration Systems, Biodiversity or similar.
• 2–5 years’ experience in environmental compliance or consultancy.
• Strong understanding of compliance, reporting, and impact assessments.
• Experience working in or with Jarrah Forest ecosystems highly regarded.
• Familiarity with dieback management, mining industry standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to provide technical advice and ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ideally based within 40 minutes of Pinjarra.
