Baiada is seeking a Qualified Electrician to join the team in Beresfield.

  • Shift relief position
  • Even time on/off 12-hour shift roster
  • Salary continuance sick leave
  • 5 weeks annual leave

About the Role:
As part of the Electrical team, you will play a vital role in maintaining optimal production efficiency and ensuring smooth plant operations.
  • Scheduled preventative maintenance and breakdown work on production lines and buildings
  • Working on/with food manufacturing equipment such as thermal oil boilers, ammonia refrigeration plant, ovens, fryers, freezers, packaging machines, conveyor systems, robotics, automation etc.
 
About You:
Contributing to a dynamic team where every day brings new challenges and rewarding opportunities, you will bring:
  • An Australian Electrical Trade qualification, along with experience in the manufacturing industry.
You are able to:
  • Fault-find and troubleshoot electrical circuits and components
  • Read schematic diagrams
  • Communicate effectively
  • Work well in a team environment
You have experience with:
  • PLCs and VSDs
  • Electric motors and servo motors
  • Complex control circuits
  • Instrumentation
  • Photoelectric and proximity sensors
  • Single and three-phase power systems
