Are you a safety-focused, technically skilled electrician looking for a long-term opportunity in a dynamic industrial environment? We’re seeking a motivated Industrial Electrician to join a well-established site on Kooragang Island. This is a permanent role offering stability, growth, and the chance to take ownership of modern electrical infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform general electrical duties across workshop and production areas
Troubleshoot and maintain industrial systems including:
- Material handling systems (conveyors, elevators)
- PLCs, SCADA, and automated production equipment
- Motors, VSDs, soft starters, and load cell transducers
Operate HV switchgear and interpret electrical schematics
Scope work, liaise with suppliers, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to prioritise maintenance tasks
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- NSW Electrical Supervisor License
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Safety-first mindset and ability to lead by example
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- HV Operator Certificate
- PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley RS Logix)
- SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Instrumentation experience
- HRWL Boom Type EWP, Work at Heights, First Aid, LVR/CPR
