Electrical Service Technician

Chandler Macleod is proudly recruiting on behalf of a  global market leader in high-speed industrial automation and logistic solutions. This is a  full-time, permanent  opportunity to join their growing team at one of  Australia's premier automated sites  in  Moorebank, Sydney.

We are seeking  A-Grade Licensed Electricians  ready for a challenging and rewarding career, focusing on maintaining and optimising cutting-edge automated material handling systems.

The Service Technician will be critical in ensuring the continuous operation of our client's advanced picking solution systems.

• Location:  Moorebank, Sydney (Plentiful on-site parking).
• Initial Roster:  Day shift, Monday to Friday, to allow for thorough training and induction.
• Transition Roster:  The team will transition to a  24/7 rotational roster  (likely a 4 days on/4 days off pattern) based on  12-hour shifts. A flexible attitude towards shift work is essential.

Core Duties:

• Perform fault-finding, maintenance, and repair on electrical, mechanical, and  PLC control systems.
• Promptly respond to reactive breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Strictly adhere to all  Health & Safety procedures, including  Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Skills and Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) 

We are looking for candidates who are team-focused, proactive, and committed to high work standards.

• Mandatory:  Must possess a current  Contractor's Electrical License  (or an equivalent  A-Grade Electrical License).  Candidates without a current license cannot be considered.
• Technical:  Proven experience in maintenance and  fault-finding  in an industrial or high-tech environment.
• Desirable Experience:  Experience with  Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS),  PLCs, or industrial networks is a significant advantage.
• Attitude:  Must be a  genuine team player  with a high work ethic. Applicants must have a  stable work history.
