Electrical Maintenance – Shift Work | Permanent Role | Overtime Opportunities

We are recruiting for multiple full-time opportunities with a leading national organisation operating a new 24/7 processing facility in North Brisbane. These are permanent roles offering stability, ongoing training, and significant overtime opportunities.

As part of the maintenance team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring high-speed automated equipment remains reliable, safe, and operating at peak performance. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong experience in fault finding, preventative maintenance, and working with complex conveyor systems.

About the Role:

  • Permanent full-time position with rotating 12-hour and 8-hour shift rosters (day, afternoon, and night shifts)
  • Fast-paced environment within a 24/7 facility
  • Ongoing preventative and breakdown maintenance across conveyors, robotics, PLC-controlled systems, and high-speed sorting equipment
  • Strong focus on electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and continuous improvement
  • Team-based environment working closely with operations and technical support
  • Use of Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP)

What We’re Looking For:
  • Trade qualified Electrician (Certificate III in Electrical or Mechanical Trades)
  • Current Electrical Licence or willingness to obtain a restricted licence if mechanically qualified
  • Proven background in industrial, manufacturing, or high-volume production environments
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills with exposure to PLCs, sensors, robotics, or conveyor systems
  • Ability to work independently and respond calmly under pressure
  • Experience using maintenance systems and documentation tools (SAP highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset

Desirable:
  • Certificate IV in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or working towards)
  • Exposure to Lean or continuous improvement principles
  • Willingness to support additional facilities when required
