About the Role
Our Client, Rio Tinto is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintainer to join the Boyne Smelters team. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining high-voltage electrical infrastructure (up to 275kV) to ensure safe and reliable operations at Australia’s second-largest aluminium smelter. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a world-class industrial environment that values safety, innovation, and sustainability.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Australian A-Grade Electrical Licence
- HV Isolation & Access (HVIA) certification
- Proven experience in high-voltage maintenance (up to 275kV)
- Strong understanding of HV safety standards and procedures
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Experience in heavy industry (aluminium, mining, or similar)

This is a residential role. Only candidates with full working rights in Australia and currently residing in Gladstone / Boyne Island or nearby should apply.
