Start ASAP | 9-Day Fortnight | Heavy Industry

Our client, Boyne Smelters Ltd, is recruiting experienced E&I Technicians to join their maintenance team. These are residential roles based in Boyne Island, QLD.

About the Role

  • Maintain natural gas assets and perform electrical duties
  • Instrument calibration and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Work with PLCs (Allen Bradley), variable speed drives, and automated systems
  • Support defect elimination and asset performance feedback via RTBS
  • Post-maintenance commissioning and clean-up
Roster & Conditions
  • 9-day fortnight, 10-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 6am–4pm)
  • No public holidays
  • Heavy industry environment
What You’ll Need
  • Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Instrumentation certification preferred
  • Gas maintenance experience (advantage)
  • Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets (advantage)
  • Strong safety focus and heavy industry experience
