We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor
to join a mining project team on a site-based FIFO contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on supervisor to lead and coordinate electrical activities during a key phase of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all daily electrical and instrumentation activities on site
- Ensure all electrical installations, preservation, and inspections comply with project specifications, Australian standards, and safety regulations
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure quality control across electrical works
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other site supervisors to resolve technical issues and align work scopes
- Conduct regular inspections and audits; document findings and ensure timely corrective actions
- Monitor and manage usage of materials, tools, and equipment to control waste and maintain cost efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety protocols including toolbox talks, risk assessments, and method statements
- Maintain accurate records such as daily site logs, progress reports, and incident reports
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of upcoming phases of work
- Support the successful transition from construction to commissioning
- Valid S26 Certificate(essential)
- Proven experience supervising E&I works in mining, construction, or heavy industrial projects
- Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and regulations
- Ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
