Our client, a dynamic and innovative electricity distribution company, is seeking a skilled Senior Protection and Control Engineer, to contribute to a high-profile brownfield project. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to showcase their expertise in and experience within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
 
Tasks:

• High-level design, analysis, and implementation of protection and control systems for power networks. The role emphasizes engineering expertise, fault analysis, system optimization, and compliance with standards.

 
Required Skills:
 

• Modelling system faults to determine fault levels
• Determine required protection settings
• Review protection designs for suitability

 
Education / Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland considered an advantage (RPEQ)

 
Location: Melbourne, Victoria
Work From Home: 2 days p/w
Duration: 12 Months
Start Date: Immediate
