Electrical Construction Supervisor
A leading mining organisation is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor
to join a major decarbonisation and infrastructure project across Pilbara operations. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster, offering a 12-month contract
with strong potential for extension.
This position plays a key role in supervising electrical construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while working closely with contractors, site teams, and stakeholders.
The Opportunity
- FIFO from Perth to Pilbara sites
- 2:1 roster
- 12-month contract commencing March
- Report directly to the Electrical Superintendent
- Work across major mining and infrastructure projects supporting decarbonisation initiatives
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage multiple electrical contractors and construction activities on site
- Review and accept Contractor Inspection and Test documentation
- Conduct punch list walk-downs and manage defect close-out
- Manage isolation requirements and SIMOPS activities
- Interpret and review project drawings and technical documentation
- Liaise with Superintendents, site teams, contractors, commissioning teams, and stakeholders
- Support commissioning and handover activities
- Conduct field leadership interactions and safety engagements
- Ensure all BMS and safety obligations are met
- Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
- Actively participate in safety initiatives and training programs
- Lead by example, ensuring all work is completed safely and compliantly
- Identify, report, and manage workplace incidents and hazards
- Promote a positive safety culture and empowered team environment
- Support workforce capability through mentoring, coaching, and development
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and high performance
- WA A-Grade Electrical Licence or relevant tertiary qualification (minimum requirement)
- Minimum 10+ years electrical experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory role within mining
- High Voltage Switching Certification
- Certificate IV in Instrumentation & Controls
- Experience with fibre and communications networks
- Experience using completions management systems
- Strong experience with HV distribution networks (overhead and underground)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, codes of practice, and HS&E regulations related to construction, testing, and commissioning
- Competitive FIFO contract rates
