Help shape the digital voice of one of Western Australia’s most essential organisations. We’re seeking a skilled Digital Community Officer
to lead the development and delivery of social media initiatives that grow online community, strengthen brand health, and enhance customer perceptions across all corporate channels. This role is offered on a 6-month temporary basis to cover leave absence.
About the Role
In this role, you will bring specialist social channel expertise to plan and deliver industry‑leading digital experiences aligned with Brand and Customer Strategies. You’ll manage end‑to‑end social content delivery, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure our clients social presence is consistent, engaging, and high performing.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop, deliver, and optimise the social media strategy and community‑growth roadmap across social channels
- Lead planning, production, publishing, amplification, measurement, and optimisation of multimedia content that aligns with customer journeys and business objectives
- Manage and enhance corporate social media channels, the enterprise social media management platform, Facebook Business Manager, and social advertising accounts—including user permissions and billing
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, digital, communications, or related discipline
- Significant experience in social media marketing, digital engagement, and community management within a large and complex organisation
- Hands-on experience using platforms such as Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Proficiency with social media management and monitoring tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, AgoraPulse, or Hootsuite
- Demonstrated success in delivering social and digital marketing campaigns and always‑on content programs
- Experience managing paid social—both self‑service and through agency partners
- Strong understanding of social network community guidelines and advertising policies
- Proven ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organisation
- Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and format across channels and audiences
- Basic–intermediate design capability using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Kapwing
