Development Project Engineer
Contract:
13 Oct 2025 – 27 Feb 2026 | 38 hours per week
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Development Project Engineer to support the assessment and delivery of new developments and infrastructure projects. The role involves reviewing engineering designs, managing development applications, and providing technical advice across residential and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and approve development construction plans and drainage designs.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and planning requirements.
- Provide input on capital works and subdivision development.
- Prepare reports, design assessments, and engineering recommendations.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Development Engineer.
- Experience in local government or consultancy (growth or metro areas).
- Sound knowledge of IDM’s, EDCM, and the Subdivision Act.
- Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and CAD-based software.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
