Delivery Manager

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead multiple, cross-functional Agile delivery teams and ensure end-to-end delivery of business outcomes across a portfolio of work. In this role you’ll be joining our client AGL managing technology assets that provide critical services and functionality to business units. This is a six months contract role in Melbourne CBD in a hybrid working environment.
 
As a leader of leaders, you will act as the technical owner for a group of technology assets, accountable for their health, performance, and risk management. You’ll combine strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in a lean environment.
 
What You’ll Be Doing
•     Stakeholder Relationship Management
o    Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, product managers, and vendors.
o    Act as a trusted advisor and technology partner to the business.
•     People Leadership
o    Lead and mentor Delivery Leads and cross-functional teams.
o    Review team capability and support career development plans.
•    Resource & Demand Planning
o    Proactively manage resource supply based on pipeline demand.
o    Drive dynamic planning and prioritization across delivery teams.
•    End-to-End Delivery Leadership
o    Ensure successful delivery of technology-based products and services.
o    Remove blockers and enable teams through servant leadership.
•    Financial Management
o    Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery.
•    Agile & Lean Governance
o    Foster an Agile culture and continuous improvement mindset.
o    Identify productivity gains across people, process, and technology.
•    Technical Asset Ownership
o    Oversee performance, risk, and security management of technology assets.
o    Drive Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Cloud capabilities.
•    Support & Operations
o    Establish production support models and manage incidents effectively.
 
About You
•    A strategic thinker and organized self-starter with proven experience leading large delivery teams.
•    Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
•    Strong leadership style that inspires and attracts talent.
•    Experienced in Agile delivery practices and cultivating high-performing teams.
•    Passionate about leveraging technology to enable strategic outcomes.
•    Solid understanding of technical standards and SAP systems.

What You’ll Bring
•    Track record of operating in technology delivery roles within large corporate environments.
•    Ability to manage complex portfolios and drive cultural change.
•    Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
•    Familiarity with SAP technology, Salesforce, and Energy experience
