Are you an experienced delivery driver with an MR license looking for flexible work? We have an exciting opportunity for drivers to join a leading national foodservice distribution company on an ad hoc basis. This role offers full-day shifts.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering products to customers across Canberra and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
Key Details:
- Days: Ad hoc shifts Monday to Saturday
- Hours: Typically 8-hour shifts with potential overtime
- Start Date: 12th January
- Potential End Date: 31st January (subject to extension based on business needs)
- Safely operate an MR vehicle to deliver goods to customers
- Load and unload products efficiently
- Ensure compliance with OH&S and food safety standards
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Complete delivery documentation accurately
- Good knowledge of Canberra and surrounding areas
- Current MR truck license
- Valid Working With Vulnerable People Check (WWVC)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Ability to pass a police check
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks
- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
