A leading provider of fully integrated human resource services is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a ‘Data Analyst’ role across all levels

Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Preparation:
- Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems.
- Clean, manipulate, and process raw data to prepare it for analysis (ETL: Extract, Transform, Load processes).
- Ensure data quality and integrity, identifying any anomalies or inconsistencies.
Data Analysis:
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven recommendations to improve business operations.
Data Visualization:
- Present analysis results through dashboards, graphs, and reports using tools like Power BI or Excel.
- Communicate complex data in an easy-to-understand way for non-technical stakeholders.
Reporting:
- Create regular and ad-hoc reports on business performance, customer behaviour, market trends, etc.
- Collaborate with business leaders to interpret data insights and assist in strategic planning.
Collaborative Work:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, marketing, product development) to understand their data needs.
- Support decision-making by providing timely and accurate data analysis.
- Engage with data engineers and IT teams to improve data pipelines and reporting processes.
Tool & Software Use:
- Use SQL for database querying.
- Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create dashboards and reports.
Data Governance:
- Ensure data is compliant with privacy laws and corporate data governance standards.
- Implement and follow best practices for data management and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
- Strong knowledge of data structures, relational databases, and data warehousing.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems using data.
- Able to translate technical data findings into actionable business insights.
- Ensure high accuracy and quality in all aspects of data handling.
- Preferably someone with 1-2 years of experience in a data analysis role.
- Experience in using Fieldglass and SAP Ariba is advantageous but not required.
