Customer Service Representative – 6-Month Contract

Location:  Lithgow 
Contract Duration:  Until 6 April 2026
Roster:  Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays)
Hours:  35 hours/week on a rotating roster between 7am and 7pm

Are you a customer service professional looking for your next opportunity? We’re hiring multiple Customer Service Representatives to join a dynamic team in Lithgow. This is a fantastic chance to build on your experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

About the Role You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing high-quality service and support across a range of enquiries for a government agency. Shifts rotate weekly, typically including:

• Early starts (e.g. 7am)
• Mid-morning starts (e.g. 9–10am)
• Late starts (e.g. 11am)

Training & Support Training is delivered virtually to equip you with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed. Once training is complete, you’ll receive on-site support from experienced colleagues and managers.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience:  2–3 years in customer service (call centre, administration, or retail)
• Communication:  Excellent written and verbal skills
• Background:  Previous government experience is a plus, but not essential
• Work Environment:  Prior experience in an office setting preferred

Technical Skills

• Intermediate computer proficiency
• Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Teams)
• Strong email etiquette
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
