About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a Victorian State Government department responsible for delivering vital programs and services across energy, environment, climate action, agriculture, water and public land management.
They are seeking a proactive and service‑driven Service Delivery Officer
to provide high‑quality customer service, administrative support, and site coordination across a busy regional office.
This role plays a key part in enabling smooth day‑to‑day operations and supporting staff and stakeholders across the region. It’s well suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and working in a fast‑paced and community‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Deliver excellent internal and external customer service across the site and region
- Coordinate daily administrative and site management functions (mail services, consumables, security registers, database updates, etc.)
- Support fleet management activities, including log sheets, utilisation reporting, vehicle maintenance and replacement coordination
- Assist with facilities management by logging and tracking maintenance requests, liaising with contractors, and communicating on-site impacts
- Provide administrative and project support to the Program Manager and broader Regional Services team
- Maintain accurate records in line with departmental processes
- Support staff with access to fleet, meeting rooms, and other site services
- Help create a culturally safe, inclusive and respectful working environment free from racism and discrimination
About You
You are an organised, adaptable professional who enjoys helping others and keeping a workplace running smoothly. You can confidently manage competing priorities and communicate well with a wide range of people.
You will ideally bring:
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement experience
- Administration or site services coordination experience (highly regarded)
- Confidence using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Ability to apply critical thinking and solve problems within guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage workflows and deliver to deadlines
- Work within a department delivering meaningful outcomes for Victorian communities
- Fast‑paced, varied role supporting staff, stakeholders and regional operations
