Our client AGL is seeking a  highly organised and proactive professional to join their Perth CBD office on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is pivotal in supporting day-to-day business operations, ensuring smooth internal processes, and delivering exceptional service to customers. You will provide accurate, timely, and professional information and resources to internal teams and customers, contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Administration: Manage Energy Service Agreements (ESA), including validation, liaison with internal teams, and ensuring compliance before execution.
  • Billing System Support: Maintain accurate customer account data in Gentrack and assist with reporting requirements.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer queries via phone and email, resolve issues professionally, and escalate where necessary.
  • Office Administration: Oversee office facilities, supplies, travel bookings, and support internal meetings and new starter setups.
  • Internal Support: Provide administrative assistance across departments, including document formatting and requisitions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with external parties such as Western Power and ATCO for service orders, churn processes, and new connections.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, unexpected charges, and payment issues promptly.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes and efficiency.

Skills & Experience


  • Strong administrative and procedural background with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Gentrack, SAP, or similar billing/accounting systems desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive customer conversations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Team-oriented with a positive, approachable attitude and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Previous experience in the energy sector or similar environment is highly regarded.
