Culture and Capability Officer

Chandler Macleod is partnering with a Local Council in Sydney to find a Culture and Capability Officer. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace by managing key culture and capability programs that help shape the employee experience.
 
About the Role
You’ll play a key role coordinating the Employee Opinion Survey — from setup and communication to driving participation and turning survey insights into meaningful actions. You’ll also oversee essential compliance training programs, such as first aid, ensuring employees complete required learning efficiently.
 
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Employee Opinion Survey
• Develop and execute communication plans
• Analyse survey results and support translation of insights into action plans
• Oversee compliance training programs
• Support leadership development initiatives and cultural change programs
 
About You
You’re organised, proactive, and skilled in driving employee engagement and cultural initiatives. You thrive working in a collaborative environment and enjoy making a real difference in workplace culture.
 
You will have:
• Demonstrated experience managing engagement or cultural surveys
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
• Strong project management and facilitation skills
• Ability to develop systems and processes to support workplace culture
• Experience in Local or State Government (desirable)
