Project Cost Analyst – Major Studies | Contract Opportunity

Chandler Macleod is partnering with a leading organisation to source an experienced  Project Cost Analyst  to support the delivery of multiple large-scale studies. This contract role offers the chance to work within a high-performing project controls team, driving cost management excellence across complex initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cost and change control processes, including budgeting, forecasting, cashflow analysis, and reporting.
• Deliver proactive cost analysis, identify risks, and escalate issues to ensure project alignment.
• Collaborate with planners, technical experts, and senior stakeholders to maintain accurate and insightful cost data.
• Ensure compliance with established project controls systems, tools, and procedures.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in cost-focused project controls roles on large-scale projects.
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance
• Strong proficiency in enterprise-level cost management systems, SAP reporting, and advanced Excel.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
