Corporate Communications Manager  Location: Sydney (Hybrid – a couple of days WFH)
Contract Length: 12 months

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Communications Manager to step into a 12‑month maternity leave cover for a high‑profile global technology organisation. In this role, you will support both employee communications and external media relations across Australia and New Zealand, reporting into the Head of Communications (ANZ).

You’ll work closely with senior executives, the regional GM, Employee Success, and Sales Strategy teams - shaping impactful communications that connect employees to the business vision while driving strong brand and media presence externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive ANZ employee communications strategy, overseeing content across Slack, All‑Hands, digital screens, email and more.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the ANZ EVP/GM and Leadership Team, providing strategic comms guidance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to build and execute integrated communications plans, including key messaging, FAQs, talk tracks and presentation content.
  • Align regional comms with global programs to ensure consistency and timeliness.
  • Contribute to the external communications strategy to enhance brand reputation across ANZ.
  • Maintain and grow strong relationships with business and technology media.
  • Oversee executive communications with compelling, strategic narratives.
  • Drive positive media engagement around AI, product innovation and thought leadership.
  • Use data‑driven insights to continuously improve comms effectiveness.
About You
  • 10+ years’ experience in communications with both employee comms and external media relations.
  • Strong media relationships across business and technology outlets.
  • Proven stakeholder management in fast‑paced or tech‑driven environments.
  • Exceptional writing skills and storytelling capability.
  • Confident working cross‑functionally in a matrix organisation.
  • Action‑oriented, collaborative, and thrives in dynamic environments.
