About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contracts Advisor to join our client’s team on a 4 month assignment. In this temporary cover role, you’ll play a key part in supporting procurement planning, managing bids, developing contracts, and assisting with capital works projects. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless contract execution and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare procurement plans and bid documentation for goods, services, and works
- Manage quotations, tenders, and evaluation processes
- Develop and establish contracts, including negotiation and compliance checks
- Use e-Procurement/SRM systems for bid management and contract creation
- Provide procurement support for capital works projects
- Degree in engineering, law, quantity surveying OR tertiary qualification with relevant procurement/contracting experience
- 1–2 years’ experience in contracts within a similar organisation
- Knowledge of contract law, procurement policies, and business systems
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a collaborative approach
- Familiarity with SAP/SRM systems and WA Government procurement policies.
