Our client, a major organisation in the infrastructure sector, is seeking a dedicated Contracts Officer to play a vital role in ensuring seamless contract administration and financial accuracy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, develop your career, and potentially move into a permanent role within their organisation in Brisbane CBD.
What You’ll Do:
As a Contracts Officer, you will be at the forefront of invoice processing, accounts payable management, and contract administration. You will utilise your experience to manage process flows, handle purchasing activities, and ensure compliance with organisational standards. Working within a collaborative team environment, you will engage with stakeholders, meet strict deadlines, and support large-scale infrastructure projects, making a tangible impact on the organisation’s operations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in invoice processing and accounts payable functions
- Experience with purchasing, contracts, or finance systems, including understanding of process workflows
- Ability to prioritise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated resilience under pressure and a team-oriented attitude
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to major projects or large infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with systems such as Prism, TechnologyOne (CI Financials), Aconex, or SharePoint
- Prior experience in contract management within complex project settings
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business administration, or a related field are desirable
- Previous experience in contract administration or accounts payable within fast-paced environments
Other Requirements:
- This is a 6-month temporary position with strong potential for extension or permanent conversion (T2P)
- Location: Brisbane CBD
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (post-onboarding, 2 days WFH per week)
- Immediate start preferred
