Contract Project Manager – 6‑Month Contract
Location: North Ryde, Sydney - ASAP Start
Chandler Macleod is partnering with a leading transport & infrastructure organisation to engage a Contract Project Manager
to support major operational programs and a high‑profile tender process. This role is ideal for PMs experienced in complex, multi‑stream business projects, vendor management, and organisational coordination.
About the Role
You will work alongside a Senior Project Manager across two major organisational programs — Work Management
and Manufacturing & Supply Chain
— ensuring effective coordination, delivery alignment, and program progression.
You will also support a large-scale tender
involving a business solution that will require structured evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and readiness planning.
The programs are entering the RFP and business case
stages, requiring strong organisation, commercial thinking, and excellent stakeholder management. Some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple workstreams to support program delivery
- Manage vendor interactions, RFP activities, and documentation
- Assist with preparation of business cases, schedules, and progress reporting
- Support governance, steering updates, and milestone tracking
- Work closely with operational, commercial, supply chain, and field teams
- Maintain alignment across parallel projects to ensure objectives are met
- Experienced in business program or project coordination
- Skilled at vendor engagement, RFP processes, and documentation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities across complex environments
- Exposure to projects involving business systems or process change is beneficial
