About the Role
Our client, a leading mining and energy company, is delivering one of the largest solar farm projects in the Pilbara – a key initiative within their renewable energy transition.
We’re seeking an experienced Construction Manager
to lead the on-site delivery of this landmark 440 MW solar energy project. In this pivotal role, you will manage the owner's construction team on the ground and work closely with contractors to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong on-site leadership, coordinating daily construction activities.
- Supervise and support the owner’s team to ensure effective contractor oversight.
- Oversee and coordinate work across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Foster and uphold a strong safety culture, ensuring WHS policies are met or exceeded.
- Manage contractor performance to ensure delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Monitor construction quality and compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
- Identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Report regularly on progress, risks, and overall site performance to the project leadership.
- Support commissioning and project handover into operational readiness.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar senior role on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
- Experience in solar or renewable energy construction is highly desirable.
- Strong multi-disciplinary background – civil, structural, mechanical, and/or electrical.
- Demonstrated success in managing contractors on complex, remote FIFO projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Ability to maintain strong cost, time, and quality controls.
- Practical understanding of construction standards, QA/QC processes, and WHS regulations.
