Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Coordinator – Pinjarra Mine Site | Contract | DIDO

Mining Infrastructure | DIDO – Daily Travel | Contract
Location:   Southwest WA (near Pinjarra / Dwellingup Region) | DIDO from Perth or surrounds
Duration:  November 2025 to Mid 2026 | Chance to extend
Rate:  $90–$105/hr plus Super | 10-hour days | No Accommodation Provided
Roster: Monday to Friday | 7:00am to 5:00pm – Occasional Saturday

We’re seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Coordinator (E&I Coordinator) to lead contractor management and electrical project coordination on a major mining construction project near Pinjarra, WA. This contract role offers a prime opportunity to drive safety compliance, technical governance, and operational excellence within a dynamic mine site environment.

About the Role
As the Electrical & Instrumentation Coordinator, you will manage multiple contractor teams delivering LV and HV electrical installations, instrumentation upgrades, and electrical infrastructure projects on site. You will ensure strict compliance with mining safety legislation, quality assurance, and project schedules. Acting as the primary liaison between contractors, mine operations, and engineering teams, you will oversee risk assessments, permit management, and technical queries to ensure smooth project delivery on this WA mine site.

About You

  • Trade qualification with current WA “A Grade” Electrical Licence (essential)

  • Instrumentation trade certificate highly desirable

  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management and WHS certifications preferred

  • Extensive hands-on E&I experience with 5+ years in supervisory or coordination roles

  • Strong leadership, contractor management, and communication skills

  • Proven track record in mining construction project coordination, safety compliance, and budget control

  • Must have full Australian work rights
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate electrical and instrumentation contractor teams on site

  • Manage safety compliance and quality assurance per mining legislation

  • Oversee permit approvals, hazard risk assessments, and technical governance

  • Act as the key contact for contractors, operations, and engineering stakeholders
